Our Belief

What we believe is broadly the same as other Christian churches including the Church of England and Methodists.  The difference lies in the way we are organised because we don’t have a hierarchy of clergy, bishops, and archbishops.  Rather we believe in the equality of believers and all are called to ministry, in and through God’s church.  Consequently, the church’s structure is one where the members are its decision makers, each member having equal voice and vote, through regular church meetings.  However, you don’t have to be a member of the church to join us for worshipping God.

As a Christian church we exist to know God through Jesus Christ and to make Him known. We are committed to teaching the Bible, growing in our relationship with God, supporting each other in faith, and sharing the good news of Jesus.
